A Crossing Of Paths (Part Two)Shona swallowed, gripping her wand tightly and refusing to point it anywhere but right in front of the stranger’s face. “The ‘Doctor’?” she asked doubtfully.A Crossing Of Paths (Part Two) by Twiff-Bean
“Yup,” he answered. “I always show up when something goes wrong.”
Faith scowled from beside Shona. “Mm. Or maybe something always goes wrong whenever you turn up? It works both ways, you know,” she said pointedly.
“And that’s not exactly the best quality in a so-called ‘Doctor’,” Shona added.
The Doctor beamed widely. “Oh, good, very good... I’m going to like you two.”
Shona and Faith exchanged a look.
The Doctor was quite tall, with a mop of untidy light brown hair and warm but simultaneously sharp eyes. He wore a slightly rumpled grey suit, a white shirt and a little red bow tie at his collar, and oddly enough, a strange little circular red hat with a black tassel attached. He spoke with a strange, subtle accent Shon
A Crossing Of Paths (Part One)District 9 and 3/4A Crossing Of Paths (Part One) by Twiff-Bean
A large, vivid scarlet train sat belching smoke at the side of a crowded platform, filled to the brim with people bustling or milling around it, loaded with luggage of all shapes and sizes.
14 year old Shona Pond looked around nervously as she emerged onto the platform, pushing a large trolley laden with a massive wooden trunk and a cage bearing a resigned-looking owl before her.
She pushed a lock of curly red hair behind her ear and swallowed nervously. This was the fourth time she’d been in this situation, on this platform, but it never got any easier or less startling each time. It was exciting, and she looked forward to it every year, but still, the who experience was rather bewildering.
A young boy clutching a disgruntled-looking black cat in his arms ran by her, shrieking loudly, and knocking her trolley to one side. Shona rolled her eyes, straightened the trolley out, and pushed it forward again.
The platform was lined at one side by tall, imposing pilla
The 69th Annual Hunger Games (Part Twenty-Seven)I don’t know how long I’ve walked for, but I’m suddenly aware that the sun is setting. The 69th Annual Hunger Games (Part Twenty-Seven) by Twiff-Bean
“How about we meet at the lake before the sun goes down?” I had said. Suddenly worried, I whip around and retrace my steps, running through the path I had created. If Nerroe gets back to the lake and I’m not there, he’s going to think I’m hurt and go off to find me. And he might find Deilah or Furl! If they’re even still alive... I hurry on through the trees, intent on getting to the lake before sunset.
Before long I come to the clearing where me and Deilah became allies for a short time. I go onwards, desperately trying to remember which direction I had come from. Thankfully, because I had cut my way through the forest before, I can go back through the path I had created earlier.
I start to feel thirsty again, and I know the feeling’s real this time. I race forward - my skin’s empty and I can only get water at the lake. As I glance ar
The 69th Annual Hunger Games (Part Twenty-Six)I continue through the forest, and soon am dry throated and sore. I stop for a while and rest against a nearby tree. Sipping water, I gaze at my surroundings. There is a rustle in the branches above me and I whirl around, holding a knife out in front of me. Suddenly a figure drops down from the branches. The 69th Annual Hunger Games (Part Twenty-Six) by Twiff-Bean
I'm getting ready to throw the blade when I identify the person. The person has a slight limp - they rest their weight on one leg, and has hair that falls in a tangled black mat around their head.
A hand flies to my mouth and I rush towards her.
“Deilah!” I shout, when I suddenly realise she might not even know me. She looks at me in fear.
“Are you going to kill me?” she asks.
“Of course not,” I assure her. She stares at me for a moment. “Are you ok?” I ask.
“I'm fine. I just twisted my ankle the other day. It's fine,” she says. I realise it's the first time we've ever spoken to each other.
“Oh,” I say
|I’m saving up for a premium membership!!!!!! Please donate!!!!!|
And I am just going to say that I am opening commissions!!!!!!! I’ll do fanfics for series’ - I will try to do whatever you ask but it will cost more points if it is not for The Hunger Games, Hetalia, Maximum Ride, Chaos Walking, the ‘Wings’ series, a Disney movie, Warrior Cats, Percy Jackson, Fruits Basket, Harry Potter, Doctor Who, His Dark Materials, Twilight, the Keys to the Kingdom, the book ‘Knife’, or the Gone series. Or something I haven’t put that I do actually know about - because I will have to do research for ones I haven’t heard of. Ask me about particular series’ in the comments below. I will do lime and lemon if you ask me to. Smut... Maybe. Fine. I will write smut for you. If you really really want me to. But I love writing romance and lime so I’d prefer those OC commissions I will do, however I will need a fact file on the character describing their appearance, behaviour, etc, and may cost more. FC fanfics will need this too. Just note me or send me a comment! I’m saving up for a premium membership, so yeah, it may take a while... I’m starting off cheap at 3 points for a fanfic I know the series it is for - whether FC or not, 4 points for an OC story, or an FC story for a fanfic I don’t know about, and 5 points for a fanfic with the authors characters in I don’t know about. However, prices will be negotiable - depending on the story length and complexity. So yeah - get them while they’re cheap!
